| We finally settled on a new contract in May of 2003 for four years. The Ford Rouge Fire Department has gone through a lot of changes since the last time we updated this site. First, the retirements of Captain Gary Dell, Captain Doug Hayes and Firefighter Charlie Marscher were commenced in August of 2003. New hires since we updated this website are firefighters Dawn Kelly, Tim Johnson, Nick Eland, Dawnn Burnett and Joe Daniel. A brand new Pierce mini pumper will bless our station sometime in November or December 2004. We are very excited for this brand new pumper and can't wait for it to arrive!
